Our Story

The Potters Den began in 2004, as a little escape for people who wanted a place to relax and get creative in Holmfirth, a place known for its famous artists and beautiful Yorkshire hills.

Previously owned for over 15 years by the wonderful, now retired Moz.

Known for her talented painting, ceramics, gardening and kindness. Who with her wealth of knowledge passed The Potters Den onto Eve in June 2025.

Original Potters Den

With her passion for creativity, Eve gave Potters Den a rebrand.

Inspired by the original branding a new logo was designed, and with help from family and friends the studio space was newly refurbed,

with additions inside and out including its unique hand painted walls and details to help visitors feel inspired while painting!

Please Note: While we always take every measure to ensure the best finish on each pot & slight imperfections are normal as each pot is unique and hand painted by you, pottery can be unpredictable,

sometimes uncontrollable and while we always hope everything goes to plan with the kiln gods! It doesn't come without some risk.

In this case, glaze faults may occur and we might refire pots to fix any issues.

In the very rare case of your pottery cracking or breaking in the firing process, we will offer a total refund or reimbursement.
